Kombu Design & Build is a London and South East England–based design and build practice, specialising in bespoke home refurbishments, extensions, and carefully delivered commercial projects. Founded by a RIBA Chartered Architect, and a Structural / Civil Engineer, Kombu Design Build is uniquely positioned to guide projects seamlessly from initial concept through to completion, offering an integrated approach that unites design vision with construction expertise during every stage of the project. We collaborate with homeowners, developers, businesses, and charities to deliver quality-led, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions through a transparent, technology-driven approach.     Design & Planning

    Our in-house design team delivers comprehensive RIBA Stages 1–7 architectural services, co-ordinated structural and civil engineering and detailed cost estimating. Through our wider design network, we also provide specialist expertise in interior design, landscape and garden design, and MEP services.

    Construction & Site Management

    Led by our dedicated project managers, our construction service is delivered by a skilled, reliable site team who translate design into built reality. We work in close partnership with our clients to ensure each project is executed with care, delivered on time, and controlled within budget.

    We offer services for commercial fit-outs and change-of-use projects for cafés, clinics, offices, gyms and retail spaces. We support clients from lease signing to opening day, handling Licence to Alter packs, Building Control compliance, and services coordination.
